Pet Sitting Visits That Keep Your Pets Happy at Home

When you have to be away, your pets shouldn’t have to leave the place where they feel most comfortable.

Pet Sitting Pawfection provides personalized in-home pet sitting for dogs, cats, and other pets. Whether you’re leaving for vacation, working a long shift, spending the day away from home, or simply need an extra hand, we customize each visit around your pet’s normal routine, individual needs, and personality.

At the center of everything we do are three things: Safety, Quality, and Peace of Mind.

A meet & greet is required before services begin.

Pet Sitting Designed Around Your Pet’s Routine

No two households need exactly the same kind of care. A dog may need a walk, dinner, medication, and attention. A senior pet may need a slower visit and extra monitoring. Your cats may be happiest with fresh food and water, a clean litter box, playtime, and someone making sure everything at home looks normal.

That’s why our pet sitting visits are customizable.

What’s Included in a Pet Sitting Visit?

Every care plan is different, but your visits may include:

  • Feeding and fresh water
  • Potty breaks and walks
  • Playtime and enrichment
  • Oral medication administration
  • Litter box cleaning
  • Cleaning up pet accidents
  • Lots of love and attention
  • Detailed updates, photos, and video

We can also help keep things running normally at home while you’re away by bringing in mail and packages, watering plants, rotating lights or blinds, and handling trash and recycling on trash day.

Pet Sitting for Vacations, Workdays & More

Pet sitting visits are a good fit for people who need dependable care without disrupting their pets’ normal environment.

You might schedule visits for:

  • Vacations or business travel
  • Weekend getaways
  • Long workdays or shift work
  • Day trips or extended evenings away
  • An elderly pet owner who needs help with walks, playtime, or enrichment
  • Pets who are happier staying home than going to a boarding facility

We care for dogs, cats, fish, birds, and other small animals. We do not have the training to care for farm animals.

How Many Visits Will My Pet Need?

When you’re traveling, dogs require a minimum of three visits per day. Visits can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on their routine and needs.

Cats and small animals require at least one visit per day, with visit lengths ranging from 20 to 60 minutes.

Very young puppies often need more continuous care than several scheduled visits can provide. We’ll talk with you about your puppy’s routine and whether visit-based pet sitting is the right fit.

Safety, Quality, and Peace of Mind

Peace of mind starts before you leave home.

We begin with a conversation about your expectations, your pets, and their routines. Before services begin, we require a meet and greet so we can meet your pets, learn how to access and secure your home, locate food and medications, review care instructions, and make sure everyone feels comfortable moving forward.

During every visit, our sitter assesses your pet’s demeanor and health as well as conditions around the home. We review your instructions and previous sitter notes, pay attention to anything unusual, and communicate with you if something doesn’t seem right.

Team-Based Care Means Reliable Care

Pet Sitting Pawfection is a team-based company because dependable pet care needs a backup plan.

That doesn’t mean a revolving door of strangers coming into your home.

Our goal is consistency. Clients typically have two to three sitters associated with their care: a primary sitter, another trained team member who can step in when needed, and an emergency backup.

If your primary sitter becomes sick or has an emergency, you don’t have to scramble to find someone to care for your pets while you’re away.

Our employees are background checked and complete 25+ hours of training before working independently with clients. Team members are trained in our procedures, protocols, and company mission and are insured for pet sitting and pet transport and bonded.

There’s also oversight behind the scenes. Administrators monitor daily schedules and visits so that if a sitter doesn’t clock in when expected or another issue arises, someone is there to notice and find a solution.

Stay Connected Through Our Client Portal

Pet Sitting Pawfection uses Time To Pet to keep your pet’s important information and our communication in one place.

Your profile includes details such as feeding instructions, daily routines, medications and supplements, crating procedures, veterinary information, and emergency contacts.

After every scheduled visit, you’ll receive a detailed update along with photos, video, and a pet report card so you know how your pets are doing while you’re away.

When Plans Change, We’re Prepared

Pets get sick. Flights get delayed. Schedules change. Part of professional pet sitting is being prepared when everything doesn’t go according to plan.

Before services begin, we collect veterinary information and authorization, including your veterinary spending limits.

If we believe your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, the sitter can focus on getting your pet to veterinary care while an administrator contacts you and keeps you updated. For non-life-threatening concerns, we’ll contact you, explain what we’re seeing, and discuss how we recommend proceeding.

Delayed Getting Home?

Let us know as soon as possible.

We intentionally build some flexibility around scheduled returns because travel delays happen. To date, Pet Sitting Pawfection has been able to accommodate 100% of client requests for additional visits caused by delayed returns home.

At the final scheduled visit, we’ll also ask you to let us know once you’ve arrived home safely. That way, we know your pets are back in your care.

Experienced Pet Care You Can Trust

Pet Sitting Pawfection’s owner has been a professional pet sitter since 2015 and has worked alongside other sitters to serve clients for the past four years.

That experience includes senior pets, rescues, special-needs pets, anxious dogs, working breeds, reactive dogs, small dogs, large dogs, cats, and multi-pet households.

She is a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) and completes continuing education each year to maintain her certification. She and the team have also completed pet CPR and first aid training.

Pet Sitting Pawfection is insured for pet sitting, dog walking, and pet transport and is bonded. We also administer oral medications when needed at no additional medication charge.

Over time, that experience becomes something even more valuable: familiarity. We get to know our clients’ pets, their routines, their personalities, and what “normal” looks like for them. Many clients stay with us long-term and refer us to others because they know they can count on consistent care, detailed communication, and follow-through.

Ready to Give Your Pets the Care They Deserve?

Before becoming a client, there are a few things to know: we’re a team-based company, a meet and greet and use of our Time To Pet client portal are required, and for safety, we’re unable to accept dogs with a bite history.

From there, we’ll learn about your pets, their routines, and what matters most to you so we can create a care plan that works for your household.

When you leave home, you should be able to enjoy your time away knowing your pets (and the people caring for them) have a plan.

We can’t wait to meet your pets!
